Purple Mountains Majesty title inspired by the line found in the song America the Beautiful "Purple Mountain Majesties." This watercolor painting was a fun wet into wet exercise that resulted in a magical sky of blue violets and red violets shimmering above a purple mountain. The viewer is invited into the image and welcomed to stand in the green valley below.
