White crepe myrtle flowers and periwinkle blue flowers tossed, just as nature would have it appear in a garden.
I began creating the flowers and leaves with watercolors, stamped the crepe myrtle flowers with an apple core and watercolors. A few of the flowers and leaves were inked to add definition. The motifs were then scanned and brought into Photoshop to remove the paper background and create a repeating pattern design. I then added a previously scanned piece of watercolor paper and overlaid it with an eggshell blue background for this version.
